This type of mold causes aspergillosis in humans (characterized by damage to various body organs and systems, but the bronchopulmonary system is the most commonly affected). The mycelium itself is initially white, but its pores are black. Most often found in damp, darkened rooms. Chaetomium – typically colored black. It often causes allergies in people.
