What am I supposed to do after my bed bug treatment is finished?

Bed bug treatment takes between 20 minutes and 1 hour, depending on occupancy, size and furnishing of the rooms.

After our exterminator has finished treating bed bugs in your flat, the procedure is very simple and consists of the following steps:

After treatment, the room is exposed for 1 to 4 hours until the preparation sprayed in the air has completely settled and the insects are killed;
Return to the flat and open the windows to ventilate for at least one more hour. Leave the room for this time as well, so that you do not breathe in air containing vapor from the preparations when ventilating;
After airing, wipe with a damp cloth dampened in a mild alkaline solution all door knobs, switches, table and shelf surfaces, and other items you come in contact with;
Wet cleaning of floors is recommended only in places where you walk;
Clothing and bed linen should be washed at a minimum temperature of 60 degrees as the insects and their eggs are killed by exposure to high temperatures;
Mattresses, blankets and pillows should be shaken out to get rid of the product particles;
The flat can be fully damp-cleaned after one week.
